White Pudding with Cake
Sincere greetings from Mutevazi Lezzetler!
at this episode we are sharing a recipe, that includes apricot "White Pudding with Cake"
the ingredients' list may seem long
but they are very easy-to-find and economic ingredients
let's see the ingredients now
for the cake; 2 eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 pack of vanilla
1/2 pack of baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
and 1 + 1/2 or 2 cups flour
for the white pudding with apricot; 3 cups milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup diced apricots
1 tbsp starch
1/3 cup flour
1/2 pack vanilla
and 1 tbsp butter
I'm starting by preparing the cake
I'm braking the eggs firstly…
and I'm adding 1/2 cup granulated sugar
you may use castor sugar instead
well, I'll whisk it until it turns into white totally and reach a high consistency
it has reached the right consistency
I'm adding 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
I'll mix it just for a while
we have 1 + 1/2 or 2 cups of flour
because as I say all the time, the growing conditions of the wheat may be different
so it affects the consistency of the flour, but the flour must be sifted
I'm mixing it just a while
I'm adding the baking powder
I'm adding 1/2 pack of vanilla
I'll use 1/2 pack of vanilla for the pudding also
I will check if 1 + 1/2 cup flour is enough or not? I'm mixing it
the cake has reached the right consistency
well, I'm pouring the mixture into a glass bowl…
which is greased and floured
I'm adding all of it
I'm flattening it before placing into the oven
it is ready to cook now
I'll bake the cake for about 25 minutes, until its upper side turn into red…
and it grows in the oven preheated to 338 F
the cake is cooked with perfect color, I'm putting it aside
now I'll prepare the pudding
the preparing time of the pudding is also enough for cooling the cake
I have 3 cups of milk in the pot, I'm adding 1 cup of granulated sugar in it
it is important to use cold milk
I'm adding 1/3 cup flour
I'm adding 1 tbsp wheat starch also
you may corn starch instead
I'm mixing it when the ingredients are cold yet
when the mixture starts to become thicker, firstly I'll add dried apricot…
vanilla and butter then
the starch will make the pudding brighter
the butter prevents cracking also
the pudding is getting thicker
I'm adding about 1 cup of thinly diced dried apricots
after mixing it just for a while, I'm adding 1/2 pack of vanilla
I'm mixing it just a while more
finally for preventing the cracking…
I'm adding 1 tbsp butter, you may use margarine instead also, but…
the butter makes the pudding more delicious, so I advise you to use butter
I'll boil it for about 1 – 2 more minutes
the pudding is cooked
the cake is cool now also
well, I'm pouring the pudding all over
and flattening it
after cooling it a little at room temperature, I'll place it into the fridge
and refrigerate it for about 2 hours
I've refrigerated the cake for about 2 hours
now I'm slicing it, refrigerating it overnight makes it better actually
as you notice I dipped the knife into the water
to get a certain cut
and make it smooth
I'll get approximately 8 slices
it seems as a cream cake also
well… I'm placing a slice into the service plate, it seems great
you may use any kind of garniture to garnish it
Bon Appetite! Afiyet Olsun!
at this episode, we have shared a delicious recipe that includes apricot
I may bet about its delicious taste, it is great
I know that you will try it, Bon Appetite! Afiyet Olsun!
