Tart with Curd
Welcome to Mutevazi Lezzetler video pages!
We'll share a honoring recipe with the happiness of coming together again
"Tart with Curd"
let's see the ingredients firstly, then we will see how to make it
for the dough; 1/2 pack of margarine or butter
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 egg
1/2 pack baking powder
and 1 + 1/2 or 2 cups flour
for the upper side; 1.10 pounds curd cheese, salt free
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 cup yogurt
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup rice flour
as you see, the list is…
very easy to find
well, I'm starting by preparing the dough
as I mentioned, I have 1/2 pack of butter or margarine
1/3 cup of castor sugar
I'm mixing those, until the mixture smoothens and turns into homogenous
the margarine is soft as you see
I'm breaking 1 egg now
after smoothening the mixture for a while more…
I'm adding the baking powder onto the flour
and I'm adding it onto the mixture little by little
the flour is about 1 + 1/2 or 2 cups, as mentioned
I'll add it into the mixture little by little
about 2 cups of flour is enough
the dough has a great consistency, I have to say it
I'll refrigerate the dough for half an hour
I'll prepare the filling mixture while refrigerating the dough
I have 2 eggs, I'll separate the whites and the yolks
especially it is very important to keep the yolk away from the whites
what if it happens?
when we whisk it, the mixture do not turn into snow consistency
I'm putting it aside now, I'll whisk it later
I'm adding 1 cup yogurt
and 1 cup sugar
onto the yolks
and I'm whisking it until the sugar dissolves
the sugar has dissolved already
I have 1.10 pounds curd cheese
it is very important to use salt free cheese
if it salty, you may rest it in water overnight to remove the salt
by renewing its water a few times
I'm adding 1/2 cup of rice flour also
you may add vanilla also, it is optinal
I'm adding the grated lemon rind
and keeping on mixing it
yes, the mixture is ready
you must not let anything touch to the egg white
so I'm washing the mixing device carefully
I've separated 2 egg whites…
I'm adding 1 tsp sugar in it…
and whisking until it turns into snow
to check it, if it is ready or not…
we are using this test, I'm reversing it…
and as you see it does not flow, it means that the mixture is ready
we have 2 mixtures staying in two separate bowls…
I'm starting to roll out the refrigerated dough
I'll roll it out a little bit bigger than mould size
this size is enough
I'm rolling it around the pin…
and placing into that kind of mould
carefully and leisurely
yes, I'm placing it
ok I've placed the dough
we have 2 different mixtures, one of them with curd…
ant the other is egg white
I'm getting them together now
egg white grows very easily…
so, I will not mix it too much…
just by making it touch air by a wooden spoon…
at this process
I'm pouring the mixture…
all over the dough now
well, I'm placing the tray into the oven that is already preheated to 356 F
and I'll bake it until its surface turns into red
the tart is removed from the oven
I'm removing it from the mould
it is hot yet, I'm placing it into the service plate
at this episode we have shared the recipe of tart with curd
maybe you have never made it
but, I think that after making it once, you will make it often
Try it! Afiyet Olsun!
