1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine -- melted
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Heat oven to 350º. Grease and flour cookie sheet. Beat all ingredients in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon.
Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls about 3 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack, using wide, thin-bladed pancake turner.
