Chocolate Brownie Pie
Favorite Pastry for 9-Inch One-Crust Pie -- (see recipe)
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup pecan halves
Heat oven to 375º. Prepare pastry. Heat chocolate and margarine over low heat until melted; cool. Beat chocolate mixture, eggs, sugar and corn syrup with hand beater. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Bake just until set, 40 to 50 minutes. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
