Chocolate Crunch Brownies
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
3 cups Rice Krispies
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, four, vanilla, and salt; spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes, or until brownies are done.
Cool. Spread marshmallow creme over cooled brownies. In a saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in cereal. Spread over marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting. Recipe says to store in refrigerator, but I don't-- it makes them too hard! Enjoy!
