Kiwi Jelly
Welcome to Mutevazi Lezzetler Cuisine!
at this episode, we are sharing a fruit dessert recipe
"Kiwi Jelly"
let's see the ingredients now, then we will see how to cook it
4 kiwis
1 + 1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 tbsp wheat starch
1 pack vanilla
and 4 cups of water
as you see, the list is very short
you know, Turkey also produces kiwi, so it is very cheap
let's see how to cook it
I'm starting by peeling the kiwi
I'm peeling it very gently
kiwi came to Turkey from Asia historically…
it is very rich in the case of A and C vitamins…
and potassium and iron also
after the peeling…
now I'm dicing them
into small pieces
it is very important to use ripe fruits…
while preparing jelly
but if your kiwis are not too ripe, no matter…
kiwi softens easily during the cooking
dicing process is over now
I'm putting them aside for a while
I'm pouring 1 + 1/2 cup of granulated sugar…
4 tbsp wheat starch…
I'm especially using wheat starch for cooking pelte…
it gives a better consistency
and 4 cups water into the pot
I'm mixing it…
while they are cold yet…
to make the ingredients dissolve
I've placed the mixture over medium heat…
I'll add the kiwi pieces, before it reaches boiling temperature…
I'm keeping on cooking by stirring the mixture gently
them mixture of sugar, water and starch is hot now…
but did not reach the boiling temperature yet…
I'm adding the kiwi pieces right now
I'll be cooking over medium heat…
by stirring until it starts to seem a bit transparent
it seems a bit transparent…
and it is getting a thicker conssitency
I'm using 1 pack of vanilla
you may use grated lemon rind also…
you may prepare it without any addition also
after stirring it a few times…
you may turn off the heat
I may divide it into the bowls now…
approximately 6 bowls…
it is enough
it will turn into transparent by the time
it is beautiful, delicious and has a great feeding value…
it is a nice dessert
one of the other benefit of the kiwi
it makes your intestine
and also it helps you to get over flu
it helps to your immune system
the measurements are perfect for 6 bowls
when they reach room temperature, I'll place them into the fridge…
after refrigerating them for about 2 hours…
you may garnish them with…
coconut or fresh fruits...
and serve
at this episode, we have shared an uncommon fruit…
but it is very beneficial…
