Napoli Pizzasi
This recipe has subtitles in both Turkish and English

Napoli Pizza
Welcome to Mutevazi Lezzetler Cuisine
at this episode, we are sharing a pizza recipe
when you hear pizza, of course the first thing that spring to mind is Italy…
but the Italians say that; Napoli is the homeland of the pizza
and "Napoli Pizza" is the main pizza.
so at this episode we are sharing the recipe of Napoli Pizza very simply
let's see the ingredients now
for the dough; 1/2 pack of instant yeast
1 + 1/2 cup of warm water
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp vegetable oil
and enough flour
for the upper side; 5 cups of grated tomato
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp granulated sugar
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
a few leaves of sweet basil
5 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
after the list, let's start to make it by preparing the dough
I'm starting to prepare the dough by pouring 1 cup of warm water…
into a deep bowl
I'm adding the instant yeast…
into the water…
1 tsp granulated sugar
after adding those…
I'll be mixing it for a while by fingertips…
until the mixture turns into homogenous
I'm adding 3 tbsp sunflower oil into the mixture
and 1 tsp salt also
then, I'm adding the sifted flour into the mixture little by little
I'll get a dough soft but not sticking to hand
I'll knead it over the bench for a while more
the dough has a soft consistency, it is so nice…
now I'm placing it into the bowl and covering it….
I'll be resting it for about 45 – 60 minutes at room temperature
I have kneaded the dough and it is resting now…
the tomatoes are grated also, now I may cook...
I'm pouring the tomato juice into the pot…
and turning on the heat to medium level…
I'm adding 1 tsp granulated sugar…
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp tomato paste…
and 3 tbsp olive oil in it also
well, I'll be cooking the mixture…
by stirring time to time, until the mixture gets paste consistency
the sauce has reached the boiling temperature, by the way I want to remind…
that sugar removes the sour taste of the tomatoes…
so I'm using some sugar while cooking sauces
the sauce is thicker now…
I may turn off the heat and let it cool
the dough is rested I'll remove it from the bowl…
the has grown nicely, I'm flouring my hands…
and removing the air inside the dough
it has the proper consistency
I'm dividing the dough into 4 equal pieces…
well, I'm rolling out the dough pieces…
rolling each of them into service plate size is enough
after rolling out…
I'm reducing the thickness of the middle part…
the edges should be thicker
I'm placing 1/4 of the tomato sauce…
onto the dough…
but not by spreading it to the edges
then, I'm placing the mozzarella cheese
you may use kasar cheese instead also…
we are using mozzarella to keep the recipe original
those two type are very similar…
mozzarella has lower fat and salt than kasar cheese
after the cheese, I'm placing the basil leaves…
to the edges randomly, but not too many leaves
and finally…
I'm pouring just a bit olive oil the dough parts
after preparing the other dough pieces by the same way….
I'll place them into the oven that is preheated for a long time…
and cook them in light pink color, the heat is 430
the pizza is cooked, I have cooked for about 15 minutes…
this is the ideal color…
when it reaches this color, it means that it is cooked
at this episode of Mutevazi Lezzetler Cuisine…
we have shared the recipe of the original "Napoli Pizza"…
as you see, we did not add sausage, salami or soujouk that are very common used…
we did not add those…
but it is very delicious also…
I hope that you will try it, Bon Appetite! Afiyet Olsun!
