Meatballs with Pastrami (video)

Meatballs with Pastrami

at this episode, we are sharing the recipe of "Meatballs with Pastrami"
let's see the ingredients list
25 oz minced meat – mixture of lamb and calf
1 big onion
4 slices of dry bread
1 tsp pepper paste
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp sodium bicarbonate
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
for the filling; 15 slices of pastrami
and 15 slices of kashar cheese
after the short list, let's see how to cook this delicious meal
I have 4 slices of dry bread
I'm not resting these slices in water to soften, because the juice of the onions is enough to soften
the onion is grated also
I'm adding the salt at the beginning to make it juicy
I'm kneading it, until the slices lose their original shape
the slices have lost their original shape, so I may add the remaining ingredients
pepper paste gives a delicious taste, so I'm adding 1 tsp of pepper paste now
cumin…
black pepper
and the secret of the elasticity, sodium bicarbonate
I'm mixing it for a while
I may add the meat now
as of now, I'll be kneading the mixture…
for 5 minutes at least, until the mixture smoothens
the mixture is kneaded and it has a high consistency now
now I'll be refrigerating it for half an hour
and I'll be keeping on doing the same processes
I'll cut each slice of the cheese into 4 pieces
I'll be cutting each pastrami slices into 2 pieces also by the same way
now it is time of pastrami
as I told I'm cutting each of these slices into 2 pieces
you may remove the fanugrek sauce over the slices
the meatballs mixture is removed from the fridge
you may get 30 meatballs with this recipe
let's divide it firstly
into 2 pieces then into 15 pieces
I'm picking pieces in this size
and shaping as patties
I'm placing 1 slice of kashar cheese…
1 slice of pastrami and 1 slice of cheese again
and I'm shaping the meatball gently
and I'm placing into the grease proof paper placed tray
I have shaped the last patty also
I'll place the tray into the oven, which is preheated to 392 F
and I'll bake it until it turns into red totally, for about 30 – 35 minutes
patties are removed from the oven and seem delicious
