Favorite Green Bean Casserole
2 (16 ounce) packages frozen cut green beans
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery, cream of
chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 (2 ounce) jar diced pimientos -- drained
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (2 3/4 ounce) can French fried onions
Heat oven to 350º.
Cook green beans as directed on package for the minimum amount of time; drain.
Mix soup, milk, pimientos and pepper in 2-quart casserole or square baking dish, 8 × 8 × 2 inches. Stir in beans. Sprinkle with onions. Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minutes or until hot in center.
