Garbanzo Noodle Soup
1 minced garlic clove
1 1/2 c. cooked, drained garbanzos (1 can)
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 tbsp. CHICKEN STYLE SEASONING (6
3 c. water
1 tsp. dried parsley or 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
2 c. dry whole grain pasta (eggless noodles)
In pot, lightly steam onion and garlic. PUT in next 3 ingredients, and bring to BOIL.
REDUCE heat to medium, and COOK until pasta is tender. ADD garbanzos and parsley.
Continue COOKING until thoroughly heated. YIELDS: 6 c.
